Hi, in this post I´m gonna talk about my favorite food. My whole life I have never been fussy eater, but since three months ago I became vegetarian, so now I don't eat the same things that I ate before. Personally I don't consider been fussy eater just for don't eat meat or animal products in general. Before been vegetarian I barely cook, but during this three months I have to learn how to do that because I'm the only vegetarian in my house and I don't want to bother and disrupt the eating habits of my family. I enjoy cooking for myself and sometimes for my mom and my grandma. Before my favorite food was burgers, specifically the burgers of Johnny Rockets, but now is pascualina , not any but the homemade pascualina of spinach, white sauce and mushroom, is so good, I totally recommend you to try it. Now I'm in my first year in the career of design and I have five subjects in total, three of them are theoretical and the other two are more practical, but my favorite one is Project. Project is the subject that have more hours that the others. In this class we work with many different types of materials, from cardboard to plaster of ceramic. From the start of the course we have been working in a tour that is going to be a representation under our individual perspective of Yungay, that is a chilean patrimonial neighbourhood. For this project we had to create a concept, that in design if you are in first year like me is super difficult and stressful; also we have to design a fanzine where we are going to explain to the user our tour, and a iconography that shows in a image our concept of the tour. Since that I knew that I wanted to study design I started to following a lot of Instagram accounts of designers and pages that upload posts related to design, but my favorite is Dezeen. Dezeen originally is a online magazine that published projects and news of architecture, interiors and design from all around the world; in the Instagram account they upload a brief description of the news or project that are post in the website. When you are on the website you can see two big sections, which are highlights and magazine, in highlights are the most popular or the most read post, and in magazine are all the post that are uploaded during the day; and there are also other eleven sections in the upper part that you can visit, three of them are architecture, design and interior that in there you can read specific posts about those topics. When I was a child I never had a Playstation or a Wii because my mom never bought me one, she says that this types of games consoles don't let the children be children, at the time I was so angry with her but now that I'm older I'm very grateful to have had a normal childhood, to have played typical and old games like hide and seek or run and touch and a lot of board games. My favorite board game was (and still is) "La gran capital" , that it is like the actual Monopoly but the chilean version. When I was 6 or 7 years old my mom bought me this game when we went to a store that had a lot of board games of different types. I remember have played this game in summer with my mom and my cousin every day all day long, and that is the reason why I like it, for this kind of beautiful memories that I have playing it.
